Requirements

3+ years of experience as an Environment Artist in game development, long-form film, or VFX
Excellent modeling and UV skills using Maya / ZBrush or equivalent, enabling the rapid creation of high-quality environment assets
Strong skills in creating beautiful environment compositions that enhance the intended gameplay
Strong skills in conceiving an entire level with minimal concept art and direction
Strong texturing skills using Substance Painter / Designer
Ability to handle realistic textures that fit a playful art style
Ability to adapt to specific art styles with precision
Ability to work autonomously, delivering results on time
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, with a collaborative team spirit
Proactive, motivated, and eager to contribute
Passion for art, game design, and gaming
Fluent Japanese and a willingness to learn English (eligible for English conversation lessons)

Responsibilities

Create high quality 3D models and textures both organic and architectural
Layout Levels using our in-house editors
Troubleshoot Levels and maintain their design integrity, visual quality, and performance
Close collaboration with the Environment Art team and Level Designers
