The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of software engineering management experience and 7+ years of industry experience designing and building distributed data systems, with strong foundations in computer science including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Fluency in C++ and Python is required, along with excellent interpersonal communication and written/oral English language skills.
As a Software Engineering Manager for Snowpark, you will lead and expand a distributed engineering team, drive product initiatives to make Snowpark and Snowflake more intuitive for developers, monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance, conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, and shape the future of this critical part of Snowflake by helping to evolve Snowflake into a fully fledged Data Platform.
