Requirements

2+ years of engineering management experience leading infrastructure or platform teams
6+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or platform engineering
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure), observability, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices
Experience building or scaling shared platform services (e.g., authentication, internal APIs, service frameworks)
Familiarity with architecting and developing software to enterprise-grade requirements, especially around security, governance, and compliance
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making pragmatic trade-offs to deliver high-impact outcomes
Strong architectural instincts and ability to guide teams toward sustainable, scalable solutions
Demonstrated ability to drive business impact
Hungry and motivated about making progress towards the mission of enabling everyone in the world to use crypto with peace of mind

Responsibilities

Lead the Infrastructure and Platform teams that provide the secure, scalable, and intuitive foundations every CoinTracker engineer builds on – empowering them to ship reliable, high-quality products quickly and confidently
Implement scalable infrastructure and platform foundations that support the next phase of CoinTracker’s growth
Establish a roadmap for developer productivity improvements (e.g., ephemeral environments, platform tooling) that drive meaningful improvements in developer satisfaction and velocity
Deliver key shared services such as auth, audit logging, observability adopted across all product teams
Develop and communicate a clear vision and long-term strategy for the Infrastructure and Platform teams
Lead a team of 5-6 engineers across Infrastructure and Platform, providing clarity, prioritization, and coaching
Define and drive the roadmap for infrastructure reliability and scalability, developer experience, and core platform services
Guide the evolution of our architecture toward modular, service-oriented systems
Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and technical excellence
