Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Proven experience in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure planning and project management
Experience in water and wastewater network modelling
Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage diverse teams
Demonstrated project management experience
Capable of contributing to business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects
Proven track record of leading technical engineering teams and successfully managing water & wastewater projects

Responsibilities

Manage major water & wastewater projects, including network modelling, project planning and coordination through initial inception to detailed design and construction phases
Supervise and mentor junior staff
Take a leading role as a technical advisor for the team
Collaborate with other teams and offices to ensure integrated design approach
Provide specialist technical input to feasibility studies and conceptual designs
Undertake construction cost estimates for budgeting and funding purposes
Prepare written reports and make technical presentations to clients and other internal/external stakeholders
Oversee the planning and design of various project elements, preparation of reports, hydraulic models, design calculations, technical drawings, construction plans and specifications
Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, constructors, approval authorities, government agencies and members of the public to accomplish assigned objectives
