Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in a continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, or operational excellence role
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in process mapping, statistical analysis, and improvement tools (e.g., DMAIC, PDCA)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
  • Experience in retail supply chain
  • Familiarity with Catalyst (WMS) or other WMS systems and digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with change management and training development

Responsibilities

  • Help to identify and implement process improvements for DCs to assist in driving customer value, reduce cost per case and increase cases per hour throughput within the network
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices across DC network
  • Partner with all business partners to help support key initiatives as well as projects
  • Collaborate with the team and help to drive data driven informed decision making
  • Provide insight into re-profiling/slotting DCs to best suit productivity needs to increase CPH and decrease CPC
  • Identify, lead, and support continuous improvement projects aligned with business goals using Lean, Six Sigma, and other OpEx methodologies
  • Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving activities to drive process improvements
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to build OpEx capabilities across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering
  • Monitor and report on project outcomes, savings, and ROI to stakeholders
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence at all levels of the organization
  • Travel 50% or more depending on projects and business needs
