Requirements

Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe Batch & Console operations
Knowledge and use of job scheduling software - CA-7 / CA-11 products
Proficient in z/OS environment – MVS, JES2, ISPF, JCL
Knowledgeable about fundamental instructions on MVS, JES2, DB2, and CICS
Familiarity with PRE/POST IPL Process – Shutdown/Startup procedures for IDMS, DB2, and CICS
Ability to handle console messages, WTOR’s, and resolve contention issues
2-year technical education beyond high school, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both
Willingness to work any assigned shift, including weekends and holidays
Reliable, dependable, and flexible to changing shifts
Ability to learn new technologies in support of the job
Proven ability to balance multiple tasks in dynamic and fast-paced environments
Demonstrated initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive relationship and teamwork skills
Ability to travel to other sites if needed
Compliance with SOX, PCI, FDA, and other regulatory agencies/policies; assemble and retain appropriate artifacts for audit purposes and adhere to Global IT Policies & Procedures
