  • PE license or EIT certification preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in facilities engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with HVAC, boilers, compressed air, chilled water, and utility systems
  • Experience in designing fluid and air piping systems and HVAC duct work and controls
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Design and specify mechanical systems for new and existing facilities
  • Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and reliability
  • Support layout planning and utility infrastructure for new equipment installations
  • Lead mechanical scope for facility expansion and upgrade projects
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
  • Review and approve technical drawings, submittals, and commissioning plans
  • Partner with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues
  • Develop preventive maintenance strategies for critical systems
  • Monitor system health using BMS and CMMS tools
  • Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local codes, OSHA, and environmental regulations
  • Support audits, inspections, and documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety and sustainability in all facility operations
