Responsibilities

  • Perform transmission line engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic manner
  • Assist higher-level engineers in handling well-defined portions of more complex problems and analyses
  • Coordinate work activities of others as required to resolve routine engineering tasks
  • Provide input to routine project planning documents related to scheduling
  • Monitor project status and recommend actions accordingly
  • Prepare cost estimates using established standards
  • Accomplish work according to plans and schedules established by higher-level employees
  • Actively seek out information and understanding of engineering problems and solution techniques
  • Apply basic techniques to perform analysis associated with routine technical problems
  • Use initiative in looking for opportunities and presenting new ideas and approaches
  • Assist and participate in the preparation of reports and technical papers
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and present ideas clearly
  • Listen to and understand instructions, requesting clarification as required
