Candidates should possess prior experience in EMS dispatch, operations coordination, or logistics, along with exceptional speed, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Strong computer navigation skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, are also required, as well as an organized and thick-skinned demeanor suitable for a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

The EMS Controller will monitor and bid on live ambulance runs within 5 seconds to maximize awarded dispatches, calculate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and crew availability in real time, and coordinate closely with EMS crews to ensure successful execution of each awarded run. They will also maintain meticulous records of bids and awarded calls, and ensure a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps and a power backup solution are in place.
