Requirements

  • Intelligence, passion, and integrity with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and drive to collaborate and achieve big things
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, ideally 5-7 years in a professional advisory tax organization (Big 4 or law firm preferred)
  • Experience in one or more of: Tax Controversy matters, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting, Operating Model Efficiency, Value Chain Transformation, or similar global supply chain structuring
  • A tax advisor or equivalent qualification
  • A degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, accounting or similar
  • Authorized to work in Germany or Switzerland
  • Ability and interest in global travel and operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication or presentation skills
  • Familiarity and ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; SAP awareness a plus
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting standards a plus
  • Interest in the technology automotive industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective planning opportunities and controversy resolution strategies
  • Research complex (international) tax and transfer-pricing issues
  • Draft internal memos, analysis, and financial models
  • Translate data from a range of sources into insights and deliverables
  • Build effective long-term relationships with business teams and external advisors
  • Communicate complex tax issues to business teams, tax auditors, and courts
