Bachelor or above degree in Electrical/Electronics
5 years or above working experience in eDrive EMC test area
English reading/writing is a must, fluent oral English is preferred
Knowledge in electronics and electrical products, embedded system validation experience
Good test skills in EMC, electrical, function test; familiar with test equipment and software (dyno, receiver, spectrum, signal generator, amplifier, oscilloscope, network analyzer, EMC32, Toyo etc.)
Audit skills for EMC test, ability to audit external laboratories on technical aspects
Well-versed in test standards: ISO11452, CISPR25, ISO7637, and OEM standards (Volvo, BMW etc.)
Experience with CAN tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer
Positive attitude, team-oriented, integrity, and honesty
Competence in estimating, planning, tracking, and controlling projects
Good understanding of Inverter/OBC/DCDC products (added advantage)
Strong sense of safety in work
Good PC application skills (must)
Electrician license (preferred)
Sense of self-motivation, ability to work under pressure, brave to face challenges
Responsibilities
Responsible for validation engineering of EMC and electrical tests for HV/LV products (eDrive, inverter, OBC, ECU etc.)
Manage EMC lab compliance with ISO17025, including test sites, data, records, equipment, technician training, immediate checks, OEM certification, 5S, and SHITSUKE
Work with project team to architect test scope based on requirements/specifications (internal, external, customer), including DFMEA, PFMEA, robustness analysis
Generate detailed test plans and DVP for each project
Prepare test tools before testing (diagnostic tools, load simulation, fixtures, harnesses etc.)
Train internal and external lab staff on product setup, test standards, test plans etc
Onsite supervise test execution, ensure correct methods/setups; lead DRBTR (design review based on test report) after tests
Drive and coordinate internal/external laboratory resources within short validation timelines
Submit and follow up 8D, deviation approval processes for test-related issues
Use management tools (VEGOS, Teamcenter, SharePoint etc.) to follow up issues and archive documents
Maintain visibility to new technologies in BorgWarner products
Meet departmental cost/quality/objectives
Perform other relative work assigned by supervisor
