Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (required)
  • 10+ years of experience in embedded software development with hands-on product design, testing, and manufacturing processes
  • Extensive experience in embedded software development and hands-on product design for electronic systems
  • Experience developing desktop and mobile applications that interface with corporate back-end platforms, databases, and APIs
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, complex system engineering, secure data exchange, and enterprise IT standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in product specification development, requirements decomposition, and test traceability
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills—including active listening, mentoring, and the ability to guide teams and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to build relationships, lead by influence, and drive cross-divisional or corporate-wide initiatives
  • Results-driven, action-oriented, and committed to the highest standards of integrity
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring teams in the design, development, and testing of embedded software for electronic technologies, as well as desktop and mobile applications that integrate with corporate back-end systems
  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing the development of software for electronic technologies—including microcontroller systems, motor controls, and wireless communication systems—while managing priorities, resources, and timelines
  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing projects that connect front-end user experiences with secure, scalable enterprise infrastructure, ensuring compliance with privacy and communications security standards
  • Ensuring compliance with functional safety regulations, other applicable regulatory standards, and product requirements—including marketing, cost, and reliability
  • Setting standards and expectations for software design practices and promoting best-in-class development processes
  • Driving collaboration among cross-functional partners in Engineering, Testing, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory
  • Providing technical mentoring and guidance to team members in software design, testing, and regulatory compliance
  • Championing continuous improvement in testing automation and defect management
  • Evaluating and supporting existing technologies and products throughout their lifecycle
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and knowledge sharing
