Requirements

Candidates must possess a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in C++ and Linux application development is essential, along with an excellent understanding of OS concepts and embedded firmware. Hands-on experience with IoT protocols, embedded device peripherals, and hardware debugging is required. Excellent English communication skills are necessary. Prior experience with Arrow or its clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Embedded Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software applications. This includes analyzing domain-specific technical or low-level requirements, modifying them based on end-customer or system needs, and participating in software design. The role involves performing software testing, including unit, functional, and system-level tests, using both manual and automated methods. Additionally, the engineer will document technical deliverables such as software specifications, design documents, code comments, test cases, test reports, and release notes throughout the project lifecycle. Developing software solutions using established programming languages or learning new languages as required for specific projects is also a key responsibility.
