Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of wireless communication components, including radio wave propagation analysis, bandwidth and frequency constraint management, and signal collection strategies
  • Oversee compliance with development processes and regulations for electrical, electronic, and wireless systems and components
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues related to communications systems, circuits, devices, and microcontroller-based platforms
  • Manage and negotiate with vendors for the development of wireless and electronic systems and components
  • Mentor technicians and engineers in the development of wireless communication systems and electronic components
  • Utilize advanced simulation and design tools such as MATLAB (RF/Comms Toolbox), ANSYS HFSS, and CAD software for product design and analysis
  • Develop and test electronic circuits and devices, including analog and digital designs, with consideration for wireless signal integrity and reliability
  • Apply programming skills in Python and C++ for embedded systems, signal processing, and automation tasks
  • Guide reliability management efforts, utilizing statistical measures and evaluation metrics to ensure hardware product performance in wireless environments
  • Direct troubleshooting efforts for complex communications and integration problems in multi-vendor and multi-technology environments
