Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field
  • Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and software
  • Basic knowledge of Gas burner controls
  • Good knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls
  • Close attention to detail and organized
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Well organized, able to complete and perform work orders
  • Team player, reliable, and high work integrity
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb and work at heights

  • Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility (including any shift, weekends, overtime as necessary)

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company safety policies
  • Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas
  • Troubleshoot PLCs by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze, detect, and determine the nature of problems and extent of repairs required
  • Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program
  • Perform electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies by utilizing lean and 5S principles
  • Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Operate a wide variety of manufacturing tools safely
  • Work with company engineering on electrical upgrades and new equipment installs
  • Execute electrical related inspections and report accordingly
  • Run conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment
  • Interpret input output modules
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Place utmost importance on working safely and maintain a safe work environment for self and others
  • Other duties as assigned
