Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field
Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software
Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and software
Basic knowledge of Gas burner controls
Good knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls
Close attention to detail and organized
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and as a team
Well organized, able to complete and perform work orders
Team player, reliable, and high work integrity
Good communication skills
Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb and work at heights
Ability to stoop, bend, walk, stand, sit, reach, and climb
Ability to move or traverse about facilities
Ability to work around dust, chemicals, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and in various environmental conditions
Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
Capable of utilizing mobile equipment: pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift
Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility (including any shift, weekends, overtime as necessary)

Responsibilities

Comply with company safety policies
Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas
Troubleshoot PLCs by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics
Utilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze, detect, and determine the nature of problems and extent of repairs required
Actively participate in the preventative maintenance program
Perform electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies by utilizing lean and 5S principles
Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures at all times
Operate a wide variety of manufacturing tools safely
Work with company engineering on electrical upgrades and new equipment installs
Execute electrical related inspections and report accordingly
Run conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment
Interpret input output modules
Operate a variety of tools and equipment in a safe manner
Place utmost importance on working safely and maintain a safe work environment for self and others
Other duties as assigned
