442A Electrician certificate
Minimum 5 years’ experience
PLC programming experience is an asset
Previous relevant experience in extrusion of PVC automotive industry is preferred
Able to work rotating shifts (morning shift and night shift)
Ability to work long hours shift (12 hrs)
Ability to work on weekends
Troubleshooting experience is preferred
Able to work according to company and industry safety policies and regulations
Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members

Responsibilities

Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of all plant utilities
Troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment as needed
Program machinery and processes within the company
Support and work within the procedures of the maintenance management software systems to facilitate Preventative Maintenance activities, work order management, spare and replacement component purchasing
Wire new panels for revise new and existing machinery as needed
Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Manager
Programming of PLC’s
Select, install and repair bussways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough, wire and communication cables
Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
Install, maintain and troubleshoot high-intensity discharge, fluorescent and incandescent lighting, measure and report illumination levels and install and maintain emergency lighting systems
Maintaining accurate records of work performed in a CMMS
All other relevant duties
