Requirements

  • Knowledge of Safety Systems and their application/use
  • Minimum of five years of electrical maintenance experience in a plant setting
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs, and Programming
  • Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI
  • Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
  • Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities
  • Subject to 24-hour call-out; shift and weekend work
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and fuse disconnects
  • Manage assigned work orders
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
  • Work in a team player environment with other maintenance personnel
  • Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command
  • Work with computers, line drives, and PLCs
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules
  • Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics
  • Organize work area, tools, and parts
