Requirements

Pursuing State Electrical License preferred
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
One to three years’ experience preferred but not required in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues
Valid driver’s license and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier

Responsibilities

Create a positive customer experience
Assist in performing a thorough and accurate electrical inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet
Assist in completing all electrical repairs and replacements to applicable code
Assist in the completion of all required documentation on services and collects, records, and delivers fees to office administration
Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools
Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried
Follow state and local laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes
Assist in preparing a detailed finding report with pictures for the Team Lead to discuss with the customer
Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet
Assist in recording all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing
Understand when to issue a “Lock Out/Tag Out” tag and the required follow-up steps
Protect customer's home from damage while working and leave customer's home cleaner than when you arrived
Inform a team lead/supervisor/manager if the customer does not have electrical service before leaving the call
Inform team lead/manager or team leader of any safety issues
Perform other duties as assigned
