Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems
- Conduct repairs and replacements of electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components
- Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards
- Diagnose electrical problems by using various testing equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Identify the root cause of electrical malfunctions and develop effective repair solutions
- Interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints to locate and rectify issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and equipment breakdowns
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Other duties as required
