Responsibilities

  • Promoting and maintaining IKO safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees; leads safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within department, assigned projects, and areas with goal of zero incidents; exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example
  • Designing electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, wiring, and instrumentation, to support processes
  • Designing, developing, and fine tuning PID Control algorithms for complex electrical systems
  • Creating electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Specifying components, material, and equipment required for electrical systems
  • Integrating electrical systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Collaborating with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components
  • Ensuring equipment meets safety and regulatory standards
  • Developing and implementing automation solutions, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
  • Programming and troubleshooting control systems for automated processes
