Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3–6 years of experience in automotive, robotics, or industrial automation
Strong understanding of DC power distribution, grounding, and protection principles
Working knowledge of automotive and industrial communication protocols
Proficiency with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar ECAD tools
Experience creating production-ready documentation and collaborating with suppliers or contract manufacturers
Solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills during integration and testing
Excellent teamwork and communication in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain system-level electrical documentation (Power, Network, and Connection Diagrams)
Design and document 12V / 48V power distribution systems, including protection, grounding, and redundancy
Define and maintain interfaces between compute units, controllers, sensors, and actuators
Integrate and validate automotive and industrial communication networks — CAN, Ethernet (both BaseT and BaseT1), RS-485, Modbus, IO-Link, and discrete I/O
Select and qualify connectors, cables, and interface components (M8/M12, DT, D-sub, etc.) to meet environmental and EMI requirements
Prepare and release production-ready harness and interconnect documentation (pinouts, routing data, connection tables)
Collaborate with Mechanical, Embedded, and Manufacturing teams to ensure design integrity and serviceability
Support prototype builds, troubleshooting, and system validation during testing
Provide manufacturing support, review production builds, and drive continuous design improvements
