Requirements

Proven experience of at least 5 years in the industrial construction industry working within the Electrical department
In-depth knowledge of Electrical Construction principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of Test/Balance and Commissioning coordination with subcontractor, vendors work
Bilingual (fluent) in Japanese and English, preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist preconstruction Electrical activities which include overseeing timely bid package submission to subcontractors, evaluating and approving final project cost submission to client, and attending client bid clarification meetings
Oversee MEP design coordination with engineering firms for awarded projects to achieve client requirements
Oversee and execute Project Executive set and achieve budgets for awarded projects
Build relationships with equipment vendors and subcontractors
Oversee procurement of Electrical scope to achieve milestones
Oversee direct procurement of critical long lead Electrical equipment to achieve milestones
Oversee submittal and shop drawing review and approval
Create Electrical construction detail schedule and coordinate with MEP works
Create and coordinate all MEP construction detail drawing with MEP subcontractors works
Resolve critical engineering issues and make technical reports
Oversee clients achieve target budgets via value engineering and alternate design solutions
Oversee with project close out documents
Execute inspections, quality assurance, and progress monitoring
