Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems including single-line diagrams, EHV/HV/LV transformers, switchgears, VCB, generators, UPS/DRUPS, RMU, ATS/STS, PDU, FWT/FAT, onsite cabling/panels installation works, etc
  • Strong safety-first awareness
  • Ability to develop and maintain high professional relationships with contractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Excellent communication skills and strong writing skills
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Support the commissioning process of data centre facilities (and other mission-critical facilities) to ensure all systems, components, and equipment operate efficiently and meet design specifications
  • Conduct functional performance tests on electrical systems and other critical systems as per project requirements
  • Verify that equipment and systems meet design specifications and regulatory standards
  • Perform project risk assessments and take appropriate control measures before starting any major testing and commissioning
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the commissioning of electrical systems across Mission Critical/Data Centre projects, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating according to project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards
