Requirements

  • Degree in safety engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields; bachelor's degree or above
  • 3+ years of EHS work experience
  • Registered safety engineer qualification preferred
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Experience in building and using digital platforms
  • Good English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Establish and improve the company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management system
  • Organize departments to evaluate the suitability and compliance of laws, regulations, and GEHC standards, ensuring effective execution
  • Organize workplace, ergonomics, and chemical assessments, including foreseeable risk identification, evaluation, and improvement plans
  • Conduct factory-level and departmental EHS regular inspections
  • Use appropriate tools to organize investigation, analysis, tracking, and reporting of accidents, near-misses, unsafe conditions, etc., and analyze trends to identify focus areas
  • Maintain the change management system to ensure no unacceptable EHS risks are introduced by changes
  • Develop and promote implementation of EHS training plans
  • Responsible for contractor evaluation, training, construction plans, and permit approvals
  • Supervise and ensure safety/occupational health/environmental monitoring complies with standards; respond quickly to emergencies according to contingency plans and organize resources for response
  • Cooperate with local administrative agencies on safety standardization construction
