Requirements

Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience supporting editorial or content production teams in a fast-paced environment, ideally in digital media or performance marketing. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail is required, along with comfort working remotely and strong communication and time management skills. Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs/Sheets, basic content formatting including light HTML, basic SEO practices, and an open mind towards AI implementation in workflows is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Editorial Assistant will support the FinanceBuzz staff in producing high-quality content by assisting with the daily publishing process, including formatting posts, adding visuals and HTML tables, and publishing content. They will update published content for accuracy, monetization, SEO, and reader experience, as well as update data in internal tools to ensure content accuracy. Responsibilities also include helping ensure compliance requirements are applied to content, assisting with documentation development and maintenance, fact-checking, copyediting, and collaborating with the Editorial Team to improve skills and foster the FinanceBuzz brand.
