Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Strong time/diary management skills

The ability to identify gaps and problems in existing practices and implement rectifications and solutions
The ability to engage professionally with key stakeholders in all relevant internal and external teams
A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
An ability to problem solve and make decisions
A proactive nature and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
Ideally, past experience of working in a regulated financial environment
(Preferred, not essential): A thorough understanding of the requirements of confidentiality and GDPR including a working knowledge of the different individual rights requests
(Preferred, not essential): An understanding of ICO regulations and how the Credit Reference Agencies work

Responsibilities

Respond, within regulatory timescales, to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) that have been submitted
Deal with Credit Reference Agency (CRA) file submissions and disputes for the Bank
Deal with all types of GDPR individual rights requests
Manage workload to ensure all regulatory deadlines are achieved, including reviewing extensive, complex and sensitive requests thoroughly and applying appropriate redactions where necessary
Manage own workload to ensure all DSAR and CRA activities are dealt with within regulatory and internal/external SLAs
Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries
Produce monthly management information reports and identify any emerging issues
Liaise with the Complaints Manager regarding DSAR and CRA issues linked to the complaints process
