Responsibilities
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers, shippers, and stations in a safe, timely manner
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure names and addresses are within coverage area
- Ensuring all items to be delivered or collected are safe and free from damages, reporting discrepancies to Station Head
- Verifying that names and addresses on items match the actual person and location in the system
- Accepting payments for cash on delivery (COD) items and ensuring amounts match the system
- Handing over all COD money collected to Station Head/Fleet Assistant daily
- Calling the customer before failing a delivery
- Abiding by assigned routes and following time schedules
- Maintaining a safe driving record
