Knowledge of equipment associated with the trucking of industrial and/or hazardous waste
Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and hazmat endorsements
Minimum of 1 year of experience driving commercial trucks

Transports hazardous waste, hazardous materials, industrial fluids, and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines
Operates a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers and roll offs
Performs safety inspections and maintains a DOT driver’s log and records, as required by DOT
Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment operated as required or instructed
Maintains satisfactory customer service by maintaining radio and/or telephone communication with dispatch, supervisor, or manager to receive instructions on pickups and deliveries
Completes work tickets and maintains daily inventory of tools, fittings and other equipment associated with the transport vehicle
Reports all safety issues, incidents and concerns to Company management and notifies of current and/or anticipated repair needs
Responsible for making sure all jobs are operated in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
Uses Personal Protective Equipment when needed or required
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
May require up to 30% OTR
