Candidates should possess a strong understanding of records management principles and practices, with an ability to systematically manage and maintain organizational records throughout their lifecycle. Familiarity with records retention schedules and legal/regulatory requirements is also desired.
The Records Management Specialist will be responsible for indexing, maintaining, preserving, and retrieving NYCEDC’s records, ensuring adherence to established schedules and compliance standards. They will also conduct audits, manage the destruction of records, and advise on efficient record management strategies within the organization.
