A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Defence or Strategic Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or a closely related field is required. Candidates must be able to interpret and describe complex events with incomplete data in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for breaking news, current world events, technology, and an understanding of social media and publicly-available data. The ability to work core hours of 3:00pm-11pm GMT/BST, including weekends, on a 12-month fixed-term contract is necessary, with a willingness to work on projects and meetings outside of business hours. Experience in a real-time information environment is ideal, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Serve as an expert on cybersecurity events and emerging cyber risks, along with relevant data sources, to enhance AI models. Monitor and analyze the quality of data feeds and own projects to improve the performance of AI models in real-time event detection. Make real-time decisions based on incomplete data and collaborate with the team to communicate daily priorities. Examine and analyze data feeds, and annotate, label, and edit signals in real time as part of the algorithm training process and human-AI feedback loop.
