This is an unpaid, non-benefit eligible internship position in partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program.
This application is only available to active-duty service members eligible to participate in a DoD SkillBridge Internship, and the service member must be within the last 12 months of their active-duty contract.
Must have (3) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both; or (2) years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both.
Required skills include diagnostic and troubleshooting competency, independent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to read technical manuals, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and computer experience.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and must be able to work overtime when needed.
