Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in distribution, supply chain, or logistics management (preferably high-volume service or industrial environment)
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional warehouse and distribution teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on process efficiency and cost control
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish, written and verbal) strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed
  • Experience driving a lift and managing chemical storage
  • Industry experience in laundry, healthcare, or service logistics preferred
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and green logistics initiatives
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification is a plus
  • Experience with fleet management tools and transportation routing software

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehousing and distribution activities, including inbound and outbound logistics
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards while maintaining daily operational efficiency
  • Lead and optimize the transportation network, coordinating deliveries and pick-ups across multiple clients
  • Implement best-in-class inventory and loaner kit management processes
  • Manage subcontractor relationships to ensure performance, safety, and cost effectiveness
  • Provide financial oversight of distribution operations, supporting cost control and budgeting
  • Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) and promote green logistics initiatives
  • Lead and mentor the distribution team through structured training, coaching, and performance management
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure smooth workflows and accurate inventory planning
  • Conduct and lead physical inventories, ensuring ERP system accuracy
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop distribution center personnel
  • Monitor KPIs, cycle counts, and logistics data to improve performance and service levels
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and high service
