Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, construction management, or related field (preferred)
10+ years of experience leading the design and construction of complex projects
4+ years overseeing direct reports, establishing expectations, goals, managing performance, and career growth
In-depth knowledge of construction, including site, ground up, interiors, critical infrastructure, and technology-focused projects
Knowledge of leasing and transactions, including lease negotiation process, landlord work letters, and tenant allowance/reimbursable process
Willingness to travel within the U.S

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary project team comprising internal collaborators, external partners, designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors
Manage all phases of projects with varying complexity (e.g., interior enhancements to critical infrastructure), ensuring controls for budget and scope alignment with business objectives
Proactively identify problems, implement solutions, complete projects on time and within budget, present risks, and plan near- and long-term solutions throughout delivery
Lead the real estate project delivery process across Fidelity locations, including entitlements, design and planning, budget and schedule development, permitting, construction, and commissioning
Partner closely with multiple departments (e.g., workforce planning, space planning, leasing, facilities, engineering, security, technology)
Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to senior leadership on design concepts, budgetary considerations, construction planning, and change management
Lead a team of project managers with a proven record of leading multiple cross-functional teams across business units
Establish and manage regional partnerships with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors; track performance and motivate 3rd party project delivery resources
