Requirements

  • Strategic leadership and oversight for the Team Effectiveness Center of Expertise inside Innovative Medicine R&D, ensuring alignment with R&D Goals & Objectives
  • Expertise in operating model design, governance, and capability building for team effectiveness
  • Ability to align team effectiveness approaches across team and teaming constructs at J&J, Innovative Medicine, and R&D levels
  • Knowledge of external research and evidence-based practices on team effectiveness and development
  • Capability to drive adaptive teaming best practices and lead continuous evolution of team practices to support changes in drug development
  • Skills in publicizing best practices, use cases, learnings, and disseminating teaming practices across organizations and communities
  • Accountability for measuring progress, outcomes, business impacts, and governing teaming standards & practices

Responsibilities

  • Build team-level capabilities and lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive team development strategies to enhance team capabilities, effectiveness, and performance across Innovative Medicine R&D
  • Design and implement innovative teaming strategies that align with R&D and organizational objectives
  • Partner with leaders in R&D and governance committees to gain sponsorship and momentum for teaming strategies
  • Oversee the development, delivery, and evaluation of teaming programs and capabilities across R&D and IM Teaming ecosystems
  • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify gaps in critical teams or teaming systems and ensure targeted solutions
