Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. degree and be a member in good standing of a state bar, along with over 10 years of relevant experience, including in-house experience at a technology company advising on product development and privacy issues. Furthermore, they must have at least 5 years of experience as a people manager, specifically managing senior legal professionals, and experience with Ads or AI technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

This role requires managing and fostering the professional growth of a high-performing team of senior legal professionals, building strong relationships and cross-functional alignment on privacy and product issues, serving as a trusted advisor to Mozilla’s leadership, collaborating with other legal teams, setting the strategic vision for the Product & Privacy Legal teams, providing leadership in evaluating and improving legal processes, and mentoring team members.
