Requirements

10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 5+ years leading global payroll operations across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, North America)
Deep expertise in payroll regulations, tax laws, compliance, payroll accounting
Hands-on systems knowledge, including payroll/accounting/banking platforms (e.g., Dayforce, NetSuite, ActivPayroll, JPM), integrations, and advanced Google suite and Excel skills
Technical capability in SQL and data warehousing concepts (Snowflake preferred), with a track record of driving automation and process improvements
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing global teams
Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on stakeholder management and discretion
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA and/or CPP preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead global payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring timely, accurate processing for all employees
Manage payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close
Drive automation and process improvements to optimize payroll systems and enhance efficiency
Oversee and consolidate third-party payroll providers, managing SLAs and vendor relationships
Utilize technical skills (e.g., SQL, Snowflake) to oversee the build and maintain of payroll data automations
Lead and develop a global payroll team, while ensuring compliance with global payroll regulations
Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to align on policies while managing audits, SOX compliance, and payroll KPIs
