Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking, with experience in a startup or high-growth operating environment
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, including three-statement models, scenario analysis, and driver-based forecasting
  • Strong business partnering skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and synthesize complex financial insights into clear recommendations
  • Hands-on operator with a track record of building and improving FP&A systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate financials for non-financial leaders
  • Comfort with SaaS, print, and services revenue models is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM, PDE, Content, and Operations leaders, translating operational drivers into financial plans and actionable insights
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across functional teams; challenge assumptions and identify improvement levers
  • Develop and track KPIs that connect operational performance to company-level results
  • Partner with leaders to evaluate new markets, products, and state adoptions; develop ROI analyses and scenario models that inform investment decisions
  • Design and implement scalable FP&A systems, tools, and automation
  • Establish a unified “source of truth” for financial and operational data by collaborating with Accounting, RevOps, and Data teams
  • Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting cadence; lead post-close variance reviews and synthesize insights for leadership
  • Build management and board reporting packages that communicate performance clearly and visually
  • Partner with the VP of Finance on the annual operating plan, 3-year financial model, and capital allocation frameworks
  • Collaborate with Accounting to support cash forecasting, debt compliance, and financial policy development
  • Support fundraising and investor communications by contributing analysis, scenarios, and strategic narratives
  • Lead or contribute to special projects (e.g., pricing analysis, M&A diligence, margin optimization, etc.)
