Requirements

  • Experience establishing local office for global company

Responsibilities

  • Work with Harbor’s general counsel and finance teams to establish a legal entity and comply with all the statutory, regulatory and tax requirements in the region
  • Collaborate with Harbor’s talent team to recruit team; establish local benefits, policies and procedures; and create a culture aligned with Harbor’s values that establishes Harbor as a destination employer in the Philippines
  • Collaborate with Harbor’s technology team, working with local suppliers as necessary, to ensure local technology needs are met
  • Serve as front-line manager to initial team, collaborating closely with peer Directors in the relevant technology domains to ensure resource coverage and Workforce Management
  • Serve as front-line manager to initial team, collaborating closely with peer Directors in the relevant technology domains to ensure employee retention and engagement
  • Serve as front-line manager to initial team, collaborating closely with peer Directors in the relevant technology domains to ensure career development opportunities exist locally
  • Serve as front-line manager to initial team, collaborating closely with peer Directors in the relevant technology domains to handle client escalations as required
  • Lead Harbor’s expansion into the Philippines, working with Enterprise Operations teams in the US and UK to establish a new office, build a new team and lay the foundation for a hub in Asia for all facets of Harbor’s Delivery and Enterprise Operations functions
