Requirements

Candidates must possess over 12 years of fund accounting experience within private equity, venture capital, real estate, and/or hedge funds, with prior experience at a fund administrator being essential. A minimum of 5 years of experience in hiring, managing, and developing teams of fund accountants, including managing entry-level staff, is required.

Responsibilities

The Director, Fund Administration will be responsible for building and leading the Emerging Talent Program in fund administration, overseeing service deliverables, and managing team staffing and capacity. Key duties include hiring, onboarding, training, and conducting performance reviews for team members, ensuring client satisfaction, managing service delivery accuracy and timeliness, overseeing invoice collection and contract maintenance, and serving as an escalation point for complex accounting issues. The role also involves identifying and executing efficiency improvements, maintaining strong controls, overseeing year-end audits, and collaborating with other departments to scope new service offerings.
