Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or related financial roles, including management experience
Experience leading teams
Executive communications experience both written and verbal
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Ability to present to executive level leadership
Strong business and financial acumen
Intermediate/Advanced SQL (or other relational database) experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial systems preferred
Proven skills influencing others and a track record of success working through ambiguity
Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate quarterly forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
Support monthly close and annual budgeting processes
Provide financial analysis, modeling, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions
Develop and implement FP&A best practices, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and business partnership
Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance
Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization
Monitor financial performance against plans, investigate variances, and communicate findings with recommendations
Analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions
Collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators for senior management decisions (e.g., acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or asset sales)
Analyzes financial implications of proposed investments or transactions to evaluate alternatives against business objectives
Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position
Analyzes revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates
Involves financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting
Decisions related to implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects, supporting technical/operational procedures and processes
Implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance
Provides input into functions strategy
