Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or related financial roles, including management experience
  • Experience leading teams
  • Executive communications experience both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to present to executive level leadership
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Intermediate/Advanced SQL (or other relational database) experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial systems preferred
  • Proven skills influencing others and a track record of success working through ambiguity
  • Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate quarterly forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
  • Support monthly close and annual budgeting processes
  • Provide financial analysis, modeling, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions
  • Develop and implement FP&A best practices, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and business partnership
  • Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance
  • Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization
  • Monitor financial performance against plans, investigate variances, and communicate findings with recommendations
  • Analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions
  • Collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators for senior management decisions (e.g., acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or asset sales)
  • Analyzes financial implications of proposed investments or transactions to evaluate alternatives against business objectives
  • Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position
  • Analyzes revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates
  • Involves financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting
  • Decisions related to implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects, supporting technical/operational procedures and processes
  • Implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance
  • Provides input into functions strategy
