Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a similar field, along with over 10 years of advanced experience in equity administration, including at least 3 years within a public company. Experience administering global equity compensation plans with international subplans or subsidiary plans is required, as is an advanced understanding of equity instruments, accounting standards, taxation, and domestic/international laws and regulations related to equity compensation. Strong Excel skills, people management experience, and clear, concise verbal and written communication abilities are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Director of Equity Administration will oversee the daily operational and administrative management of global equity compensation programs, including processing grants, vesting, exercises, settlements, and terminations, as well as managing tax withholding and other plan operations. This role involves monitoring compliance with domestic and international laws, partnering with Finance, Legal, and People teams for accurate reporting and tax compliance, and ensuring equity database integrity. Responsibilities also include supporting the scaling of the equity administration function, educating employees on equity programs, reconciling equity activity, maintaining process documentation for audits, managing vendor relationships, preparing materials for Board and Compensation Committee meetings, and providing input for SEC reporting and Section 16 filings. The Director will also mentor junior team members.
