Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering focused on mission-critical, large industrial, or data center environments
  • Proven leadership in managing teams of engineers and scaling organizations during high-growth phases
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Master Electricians will also be considered
  • Deep understanding of power distribution, critical systems design, and large-scale data center infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent while maintaining technical rigor and accountability
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and construction partners from concept to commissioning
  • Familiarity with high-voltage and medium voltage design, utility interconnections, and commissioning protocols
  • Strong project management skills and ability to navigate complex build environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; equivalent experience in design and leadership will be considered
  • Background in data center development, ideally from leading hyperscale operators, design-build contractors, or top-tier GCs with a focus on data center delivery (e.g., DPR, Vantage, Equinix, CoreWeave)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a high-performing Data Center Engineering team responsible for designing and delivering Crusoe’s next-generation data centers
  • Develop and execute conceptual designs from Front End Planning and Basis of Design (BOD) through Issued-for-Construction (IFC) stages
