Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commissioning data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, controls integration (BMS/EPMS), and commissioning best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different stages of design and construction
- Strong vendor management skills and experience coordinating with general contractors, OEMs, and commissioning firms
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (PE license or CxA certification a plus)
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Crusoe’s commissioning strategy and program across all data center builds, expansions, and retrofits
- Manage and mentor a growing team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers responsible for execution across multiple projects and geographies
- Establish commissioning standards, templates, and workflows that ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across projects
- Oversee third-party commissioning agents and coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure full alignment from pre-functional testing through integrated systems testing and turnover
- Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test procedures, scripts, MOPs, and acceptance criteria
- Drive integrated system testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, BMS/EPMS, and life-safety systems
- Analyze performance data and lessons learned to continuously improve commissioning processes and reduce time-to-market
- Partner with design and operations to inform design for maintainability, operability, and energy efficiency
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality control at every stage of the commissioning lifecycle
