Candidates should possess significant relevant experience in an editing role, strong news judgment across a range of subjects, a proven record of editing quickly in a fast-paced environment, excellent writing and copy editing skills, and demonstrable knowledge of digital tools or applications including content management systems and editing assistance software, as well as common IT tools such as the Microsoft suite.
The Digital Content Editor will work with editors and reporters in the creation of content, assign stories as required, edit stories as required, write stories as required, provide feedback and guidance to reporters to improve standards, work with the SEO, Multimedia teams and others to optimize content, meet tight deadlines, and perform any other reasonable duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
