Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional assessment, education, counseling, and documentation
- Collaborate with medical professionals to assure patient nutrition needs are met
- Attend medical rounds on units where applicable
- Act as resource for Healthcare Team as it relates to the patient
- Assess, educate, and make decisions regarding the nutrition therapy of patients
- Assure that nutrition care is provided and documented in accordance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines
