  • Technical proficiency in dialysis department operations
  • Knowledge of industry practices, business principles, ESRD regulatory requirements, and FMS QAI tools
  • Ability to manage tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives

Responsibilities

  • Manage tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through coordination of activities and responsibility for results
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in the department and knowledge of industry practices and business principles
  • Support and drive FMS quality standards by meeting ESRD regulatory requirements and utilizing FMS QAI tools
  • Address and act on adverse events and action thresholds
  • Oversee facility’s Home Therapies Program (if applicable)
  • Ensure accountability for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Ensure all FMS Clinical Quality policies and procedures are communicated and implemented
  • Maintain integrity of medical records and other FMS administrative and operational records
  • Comply with data collections and auditing activities
  • Maintain facility environmental integrity, including safety
  • Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for solutions
  • Interpret and recommend changes to policies and establish procedures affecting immediate organizations
