Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current licensures/certifications for relevant staff (implied management of)
  • Knowledge of dialysis treatment, patient care for end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease
  • Leadership and management experience in clinical operations

Responsibilities

  • Manages clinic operations, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports
  • Partners with internal Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services departments
  • Collaborates with or functions as the Home Therapies Program Manager
  • Maintains integrity of medical and operations records and complies with data collections and auditing
  • Accountable for Annual Standing Order Review and Internal Classification of Disease (ICD) coding
  • Manages clinic financials, including supply/equipment utilization and profit/loss reviews
  • Responsible for network reporting and on-site state/federal surveys
  • Coordinates all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge
  • Ensures patient education on quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care
  • Acts as a resource for patients and families
  • Accountable for timely completion of patient care assessments and care plans
  • Manages patient schedules for facility efficiency and develops action plans for missed treatments
  • Plans, coordinates, and validates patient eligibility for treatment
  • Reports changes in patient status related to clinical, insurance, travel, or transportation issues
  • Participates in selection and hiring of new team members and ensures orientation and mandatory trainings
  • Ensures all patient care employees complete training courses and maintain current licensures/certifications
  • Provides support for clinical staff and encourages professional growth
  • Maintains current knowledge of company benefits, policies, and procedures
