Requirements

Expertise in AWS security best practices, including identifying gaps and delivering improvements
Experience performing application security architecture reviews and providing technical leadership
Ability to ensure adherence to security by design, privacy by default principles, and security roadmaps
Skilled in communicating with Customer IT teams about security controls in SaaS products
Experience collaborating with external security partners, delivering test systems, managing engagements, and reviewing findings
Proficiency in analyzing penetration testing report findings, identifying/removing false positives, and explaining genuine findings to engineering teams
Capability to facilitate threat modelling sessions, identifying credible threats and appropriate controls
Experience contributing to incident reviews, providing guidance on product security response, and assisting in developing/implementing remediation plans
Experienced and highly motivated, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives and drive improvements by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Coach team members on security best practices, acting as a servant leader
Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and stakeholders to refine, prioritize, and execute deliverables
Facilitate threat modelling sessions and provide guidance on implementing security controls
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and addressing process inefficiencies
Identify, manage, and resolve impediments at team and program levels
Facilitate cross-team coordination to align with strategic business goals
Identify and adopt industry security best practices
Ensure compliance with regulations and help quantify impacts of security risks
Offer guidance on implementing appropriate security controls and build relationships to promote secure development practices
Provide coaching or mentoring to guide teams in security best practices and processes
