Requirements

Minimum 7.5 years of experience in DevOps Services
At least 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform or any other large-scale public cloud platform
15 years full-time education
Proficiency in DevOps Services, Google Cloud Platform Architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Containerization
Strong experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Strong experience with automation tools including IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with implementation of SRE principles
Deep experience in writing CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure (GitLab, Jenkins, Helm etc.)
Experience using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby)
Understanding of static code analysis, unit testing, test-driven development, security testing, and automated test frameworks
Good to have: Knowledge of Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hazelcast, Pub/Sub; experience with web servers (Nginx, IIS)

Responsibilities

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborate, and manage the team to perform
Design and implement DevOps best practices and solutions for cloud-native and on-prem infrastructure
Evaluate technology environments and recommend improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems on Google Cloud Platform, considering optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
Architect highly available and scalable services leveraging open source technologies
Deliver end-to-end framework for automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment
Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and performance through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Setup logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for real-time visibility into the health and performance of services, GKE cluster, and applications
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
Develop SRE strategies, best practices, and knowledge base
