Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in Java application development
  • More than 3 years of experience with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of Big Data processing technologies (MPP databases, Pub/Sub, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of computer science (design patterns, data structures, system architecture schemas)
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, coding standards, version control, code reviews, build processes, testing, and monitoring
  • Ability to challenge and defend technical decisions
  • Strong willingness to learn, evolve, and step out of your comfort zone
  • Proficiency in English as the working language

Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, well-structured, and highly maintainable code and services to create or improve product features
  • Design data processing and transformation pipelines in the Big Data ecosystem
  • Write, discuss, and implement technical designs that meet concrete business needs
  • Diagnose performance issues and implement optimizations
  • Participate in development planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations
  • Act as an ambassador for code quality and accountability while contributing to infrastructure health
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders in a cross-functional team to deliver product features
